Wunderland

Wunderland is a group from Texas that formed in 2009 when Abby Buck and Haley Mills aka Sleepyhead got together and started recording powerful electronic music with megaphone vocals to dance to in their hometown. Their live shows are filled with energy and are always so fun, they definitely know how to have a good time like party animals. Some people say they are crystal castles adopted child. A good friend of mine reviewed this album the other day after purchasing it online and he gave me the mp3s and told me that this band could easily be as big as the others in this range of music, and i do believe they can reach a higher lvl. Neon Canyon is a band from Montreal that consist of Jon Sherman and Mark Webber. Their sound is compaired to animal collectives's older material but i think it's more unique then that. Bricoleur is Quebec's best friend. It's filled with passion and thought.

Bicycle Voice aka Meg Webb is a lovely talented girl from Salt Lake City. She's been writing music since an early age and has recorded a ton of songs. Her great friend Alex Cardwell is now a full time member of the band. I am absolutely in love with her tropical twee pop. Bicycle voice will be appearing on the Apophenia Vol. 2 this winter.

I know these guys from back home. Peter and Rob used to play in an amazing indie band called Killing For Friday from 2006-2009. They released two great EPs under KFF called "Eyes" and "Mind Fights Hand" you can listen to them here. In 2009 they decided to take even further steps into their musical future. Two members had left KFF and two others had joined so they decided to change their name and start off fresh. They recently recorded a new album under their new project Currents called "My Mind Is a Ball Of Yarn" and it's their most aggressive material they ever made, It's mind-blowing. They have been playing shows around Canada for their new album. On July 28 It was announced that their backup vocalist/guitarist Ben Scriver has decided to depart from the band for personal reasons. But they are still going to keep on truckin'. They recently signed with Consession Records and plan to release a 7" vinyl this fall with the label.

This is a good friend of mine that lives just 40mins away from my house. He has a big heart so listen to his beautiful voice and words. He went to canadian idol a few years back and did really awesome. He used to do vocals for a band called Tomorrow Will Tell back in 2007 after departing to pursuit his solo project. Who knows... Polar Luke - Anteater's Dream

"To be honest... I wasn't going to make another album. After recording the self-titled album in February at my friends house as an imaginary animation I was thinking of ending this project. I stopped recording music after recording Koopa Cape. At the end of March I randomly woke up one morning hearing people arguing and decided to record the first song called Plans which is the reason why Anteater's Dream was created. I tried to keep the same sound as my self-titled but it didn't quite work out that way. It's all improv.

"D A ä R i"

We are happy to announce that "D A ä R i" has officially joined our family. We've discussed it for about three days and they have made a final agreement today to join. D A ä R i will be appearing on the upcoming Apophenia compilation which is set to release this summer. They also plan to release a new record soon, we'll have more news about that soon.

As for those who might not know about this wonderful band: "D A ä R i" is an electronic pop group from Ile-de-France, France. The group consist of two member Julie "Kéodäry" Panya & Marc "Majorsluices" DaCunha. There close friend David Prétin helps them write lyrics from time to time. Julie provides the band with: vocals, lyrics, guitar, keys, mixing and she even makes her own visual art work. Marc on the other hand provides the band with: synths, programming, mixing and he records there songs.

They have many influences such as: Boards of canada, Autechre, Domotic, Bran Van 3000, the Postal Service, Massive attack, Mùm, Joy Division, Anathema, Gravenhurst, Sofia, Neurosis, Isis, Gojira, Active suspension Label, Warp label, Michael Jackson, Aphex twin, Fünkstörung, the gathering, sigur ros, sneaker pimps , i am X,ace of base, New order, converge, Björk, Mike Patton, depeche mode, radiohead, plaid, cocorosie, Joanna Newsom and many more.

Tran Qual AKA: Gerry Roche is a American Avant-garde artist from Boston, Massachusetts. In 2009 he released his first album titled Avent Gardens.

Avent Gardens is beautiful ride with joyful beats and unimaginable limits. The first single "Patterns and sound do exist" is a beautiful ambient ballad that will make you want to burst and bloom. You can feel tons of emotion and confidence in this song. It's so pure and it's the perfect way to start off an album. Avent Gardens is truly a masterpiece. It's unique and full of imagination. This album is definitely a grower.
