I know these guys from back home. Peter and Rob used to play in an amazing indie band called Killing For Friday from 2006-2009. They released two great EPs under KFF called "Eyes" and "Mind Fights Hand" you can listen to them here. In 2009 they decided to take even further steps into their musical future. Two members had left KFF and two others had joined so they decided to change their name and start off fresh. They recently recorded a new album under their new project Currents called "My Mind Is a Ball Of Yarn" and it's their most aggressive material they ever made, It's mind-blowing. They have been playing shows around Canada for their new album. On July 28 It was announced that their backup vocalist/guitarist Ben Scriver has decided to depart from the band for personal reasons. But they are still going to keep on truckin'. They recently signed with Consession Records and plan to release a 7" vinyl this fall with the label.
